“As She’s Fixing Her Hair”

Mr. Saturday’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection is a call to action after experiencing a year of catastrophes resulting from climate change, like wildfires and floods. “As She’s Fixing Her Hair” is especially unique because it was designed entirely using upcycled materials and fabrics -- no new materials were used in the creation of the collection and pieces were sewn in small ateliers near where the fabrics were sourced. Mr. Saturday upcycled fabrics from previous collections, as well as sourced deadstock materials including denim, silk, mesh tulle, leather, and firefighting and flame retardant gear. “As She’s Fixing Her Hair” is made-to-order with proceeds from each purchase going towards the Climate Emergency Fund.
